HEARTSTRINGS – CHAPTER TWO
**CHAPTER TWO SUMMARY**
A lot happens in Kei’s house, but what sets the core of the story line is what happens later. Jun walks home with a guitar that Kei had lent to him to help rediscover his passion for music. However when Jun arrives home and opens up the guitar case, he finds out that the guitar had once belonged to Aoi’s boyfriend, Taku. Then unexpectedly, an uninvited individual comes to pay him a visit…

Gosh I nearly cried when I wrote the part when the ‘uninvited individual’ came in. Until my emotional moment was permanantly ruined by a SNEEZE. I think I nearly shat myself haha. I was pretty scared of what I was writing myself. Anyhoots, I left out the details of the last few paragraphs of the chapter sumnary since I didn’t wanna spoil the story JUST YET. In other words I’m making you read it for yourself hehe. Because I want to. Author’s rights, baby! ENJOY!
HEARTSTRINGS INTRO + CHAPTER ONE

I’ll post each chapter up as I go, and hrmm… a chapter summary as well so you get the story in less than 50,000 words. ENJOY~

Synopsis: HEARTSTRINGS
Jun is haunted by the death of his friend’s sister. Kei’s sister, Aoi. They were never close, but Jun appears to be deeply affected somehow. After his visit to Kei’s house, he takes home a guitar that once belonged to Aoi’s boyfriend. Somehow Jun sensed that the guitar holds the answers to why Aoi has casted shadows wherever he goes.
Excerpt: HEARTSTRINGS
“Hey Kei, long time no see, Aoi.”
Jun seemed surprised when Kei stopped and looked around him. Why was he looking around him? Didn’t he see Aoi walk beside him?
“Aoi’s not here, Jun. You don’t remember what happened to her?”
Jun stopped to try to recall what anyone could’ve told him about Aoi. She graduated from high school… found a part time job… played the Violin at a concert and studied music at her university… Then she…
“Aoi and her boyfriend died in a car crash. You attended her funeral, remember?”
Jun did remember now. Earlier this year, Aoi and her boyfriend got into a car accident at a park near Aoi’s restaurant. It was unfortunate that as they were driving around town to talk about something, then a drunk driver crashed into their car. They were rushed to hospital, knowing they had no chance of survival. Aoi’s boyfriend’s final request was to see Aoi one last time. He proposed to her before he died. Aoi died shortly after. Jun was notified by Kei of her death when he was lying on the grass near a long line of cherry blossom trees. Ever since then Jun appeared to always see Aoi’s shadow every time he looks at the trees.
“I remember now.”
“Great… you must be tired or something. You weren’t really yourself today, I guess. Come in the house, I’ll get you something to drink.”
**CHAPTER ONE SUMMARY**
This chapter in an introduction to Kogashiwa Jun, the protagonist, his friend Kei who has a sister, Aoi, deceased weeks before the first day of Jun and Kei’s final high school year. Aoi and her boyfriend were admitted to hospital together with no chance of survival. Her boyfriend requested to see her one last time, and proposed to her before they both died. Jun appears to be acting strange and took a while to recall this incident, even though he himself had attended Aoi’s funeral. Jun walks home from his first day of school and somehow ends up in front of Kei’s house. Kei begins to think that Jun is affected somehow by his sister’s death and invites him in for a drink.

I will not be blogging about my life until next month~ Because this month is NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH 08!!! [NANOWRIMO] Google it and see what it is.
So instead of posting random bits in my life and such, I will be posting gigantic slabs of my 50,000 word novel. Well at least I’ll try. If I do it’ll be my greatest life achievement hehe.
